It has been quite the turnaround for Shkodran Mustafi.
After seemingly being touted with an exit from the club in recent months, the German has established himself as a key part of the first-team squad once again – particularly under Mikel Arteta.
The former Valencia man has played in five out of the seven Premier League games under the Spaniard, including starting and completing the full 90 minutes in the previous three against Sheffield United, Chelsea and Burnley.
And Mustafi took to Twitter to post a picture of him and Arteta, with the caption “communication is the key to improvement”.

After seeing the centre-back’s post on social media, Arsenal fans took to replying to what the German had to say.
Some Gunners supporters hailed Mustafi’s revival under Arteta, with a couple of fans urging him to continue in that form.
A couple of fans of the north London side took Mustafi’s post as a bit of a veiled dig at former manager Unai Emery.
Whether it was intended as a dig at Emery or not, Mustafi’s post certainly skewed in that way.
Under Arteta, he appears to be enjoying a new lease of life, and the fact the Gunners boss made it clear he was keen to wipe the slate clean, has seemed to pay dividends.
